FAQ's on dancegoals

What is dancegoals?

It's our free loyalty programme which gives you the opportunity to earn points on orders, social media, your birthday and more! You can redeem your points for money-off vouchers. If you have an account on our website, then you'll already be setup to accumulate points, and if you've placed an order on our website since the start of 2020, you will already have some points!

Who can join?

Everyone! Anyone who has had a account prior to the launch of dancegoals will be automatically included and if you don't have an account on our website you can click here to create one, with a bonus 200 points up for grabs upon the creation of a new account.

How do I earn points?

You'll earn 200 points simply by setting up an account on our website. You can also earn bonus points by following us on social media. To earn these social media points, you'll need to click through to the social media pages via the dancegoals panel on our website (click on the pink dancegoals link in the bottom left corner of your screen). You'll get five points for every £1 spent on our website - excluding VAT and shipping costs.

If you let us know your birthday, then you might just get a birthday treat from us too!

How do I redeem my points?

In the dancegoals panel, select 'Redeem Points' and here you'll see the rewards that are available to you. 500 points will get you £5 off, 1000 points will get you £10 off and 2000 points will get you £20 off.

If you refer a friend, your friend will receive a discount code to get 10% off and if they spend over £50, you'll also be rewarded with 1250 points, which can get you 10% off your next order! Note that points are allocated to your account 50 days after a purchase, to account for the returns period and shipping times.

You'll see which rewards you have available in the dancegoals panel and you can click on the vouchers available to reveal your unique voucher code, which you will then need to enter when you check out. You can only ever use one voucher/discount code at a time.

Can I earn points on past purchases?

We've added points to accounts where there has been a purchase since the start of 2020. Please note that there is a 50 day period between the order date and the points being allocated to your account, this is to allow for the time to make your order, shipping and then a returns period (still 28 days). Points have been added to accounts for orders between the 1st January 2020 and the 31st March 2020. At the end of June we will add points for orders in April and at the end of July we will add points for order from the beginning of May until now (19th May). After that we won't need to manually update backdated points because the system will already be recording everything!

We're afraid that points from before 2020 will not be added.

Do my points ever expire?

Points are valid for 12 months from the date of the last qualifying purchase. Each qualifying purchase will automatically extend the expiration date of all unused points in the dancegoals account for 12 months from the month of the qualifying purchase. If the account has no qualifying purchase activity within a 12-month period, all points will expire. We've scheduled emails to remind you 14 days before points expire to help you remember!

How can I check my balance?

If you click on dancegoals tab in the bottom left corner of your screen you'll open your account which will show you how many points you have, how you can earn more and how you can use the points you have. Please note references within some of the answers above about points being visible 50 days after your purchase so if you've just placed an order for something today, you will not see the points added to your balance straight away.

What happens to my points when I return items?

When you place orders, the points won't clear in your account until a period of 50 days have passed since the date of the purchase. This covers the time which your order can be returned, so if we receive goods back, then the points won't clear into your account anyway. Our returns period is 28 days, but we have set 50 days to also account for making your orders, plus international shipping times.

Can I still earn points if I use a discount or voucher code that I already have?

Of course. you can use any discount code or voucher code you have, though the points earned will be based on the value of the purchase after that discount or voucher has been applied.

I can't log into my account, can you help?

Try resetting your password by clicking the 'forgot password' link on the sign in page. You'll then receive an email inviting you to reset your password. If you still can't get in, please email us by clicking here.

I did something that should've earned points, but they're not showing. Why?

It may take up to 24 hours for points to appear in your balance for setting up an account, following us on social media or writing a review. For points awarded for following us on social media, you must click on those pages via the dancegoals panel. If the balance is still incorrect, please email us by clicking here. Please also note the points from purchases will take 50 days to clear, to account for our returns period and shipping times.
