BEST MOMENT OF YOUR CAREER: The weekend where after winning the British National Amateur Championship for a sixth consecutive time undefeated, we turned Professional and danced in the WDC World Professional Ballroom Championship the next day entering the pro field in the top 8.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A COMPETITION: To be ready. When you trust you have done everything and can feel prepared, this gives you true freedom to perform.
HOW TO RELAX AFTER A COMPETITION: Still need to learn this one. We always like to get onto our next project.
MOST RESPECTED OPPONENT COUPLE: We respect all our fellow competitors, especially as they have been our closest friends as well as rivals since our early days and probably will be in our adjudicating career to follow. Once upon a time our coaches used to challenge us to improve in lessons by saying, "You're not as good as your dad" (Bobbie Irvine MBE referring to Warren's late father, 1975 World Amateur Champion, Glenn Boyce who danced with Warren's mother Lynette Boyce). Nowadays our teachers often comment that we need to improve by saying "You're not as good as your son" (Referring to Glenn-Richard Boyce, Warren & Kristi's son, who has to date won 23 World Championships and has been sponsored by International Dance Shoes himself ever since he was 7 years old). Maybe talent skips a generation!
ADVICE FOR ANY YOUNG DANCER READING THIS: Don't waste any time. You have one career. The training you put into your body you need to deeply consider. You must have a say in what it is you would like to become.
DANCE WORLD ICON/INSPIRATION: Warren: The 90s Golden Generation motivated me greatly but above all my inspiration is my family. | Kristi: My dancing family, the inspiration from the previous generation and to be a role model to my competing brother and sisters and of course the next generation especially.

WHY CHOOSE INTERNATIONAL DANCE SHOES?: Together we have won fourteen British National Championships in Blackpool wearing only International Dance Shoes. Every detail is important to become successful and International Dance Shoes has been with us every step of the way.
WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES OF A DANCE SHOE?: To enhance the beauty and elegance of the feet and to assist the dancer to gain strength in the feet through both comfort and support. This gives the opportunity for the dancer to develop and from the foundation of the feet something great can be built.
YOU'VE VISITED OUR FACTORY BEFORE, WHAT DID YOU THINK?: We had so much fun on the factory floor but also in the offices above. We have brought our students with us to visit and open their eyes to how the best shoes are British made. We enjoyed trying out production in all the different zones of the shoe kitchen and also took home some prototypes which we could give feedback on. This was a great priveledge as we got to test some fantastic new innovations on the next generation of shoes and you'll find out about soon enough...

INTERESTING FACT: Warren: I presented HRH Princess Margaret with a bouquet aged 10 when collecting a posthumous award for my late father. | Kristi: I dance Blackpool British Open six months expecting as a secret until we revealed it after the competition.
