Success at the International Dance Championships!
In one of the UK's most stunning and iconic venues, it was wonderful to see some fantastic results for our #IDSEliteTeam couples in the International Dance Championships at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as over the two days in Brentwood.
Four of the six couples in the Amateur Ballroom Final are #IDSEliteTeam couples with China's Charles & Sara winning the competition for a second year in a row! Fedor Isaev & Anna Zudilina (Russia) were second place whilst Dusan Dragovc & Liis End (England) and Igor Reznik & Mariya Polishchuk (Ukraine) also made the Final in what was the same top six lineup as Blackpool! Si Cheng Li & Zhou Man Ni (China) and Artem Kuklin & Alika Dikaya (Ukraine) also made the Semi-Finals.
We also had three of the six couples in the Amateur Latin Final too! Petar Daskalov & Zia James (England), Salvatore Sinardi & Viktoriya Kharchenko (Italy) and Austin Joson & Nino Dzneladze (USA) made this Final! Luca Urso & Alessandra Tripoli (Italy) and Tagir Mansurov & Sasha Kondrashova (USA) also made the Semi-Final!
In the Professional Ballroom, Arunas Bizokas won the competition with partner Katusha Demidova (USA) and new #IDSEliteTeam couple Valerio Colantoni & Monica Nigro (Italy) were fifth-placed with Warren & Kristi Boyce (England) making the Semi-Final. Ben Taylor & Stefanie Bossen (England) who have just turned Professional, began their career as Professional's with a fifth-place finish in the Professional Rising Star Ballroom in Brentwood!
Gunnar Gunnarsson & Marika Doshoris (England) made the Professional Latin Semi-Final, with Pasha Pashkov & Daniella Karagach (USA) and Zilong Wang & Celine Li Yang (China) making the Quarter-Final.
Young Glenn Boyce & Caroly Janes made the Under 21 Ballroom Final and Oleg Skaskiv & Viktoriya Maister (Ukraine) came 3rd in the Under 21 Latin! Dmitriy Rodin & Elizaveta Perepelitsa (Ukraine) were third in the Under 14 Latin and second in the Under 14 Ballroom!
We have a lot of couples as part of our #IDSEliteTeam so we haven’t been able to mention everyone here but well done to all and we look forward to the next big competition in the UK which is the UK Open Championships in Bournemouth. We sell shoes at this event so you will be able to visit us there, keep an eye on our social media for more information in the coming months!
We’re so happy and proud to see so many top couples performing so well in our shoes and we’re excited to continue our excellent relationship as we look to continue with some of the world’s top dancers on further improving our shoes for dancers around the world!
